No language? OH PLEASE!!!

There is language in this song. The song mentions "d-mn" twice. The Radio Disney version is clean, but the normal version isn't. Also, one use of "screw(ed)"

So-so song with good messages, language the site didn't catch

If you listen to this song on Radio Disney, it is on for ages 7 and up and the Common Sense Media review fits it just fine. But if you listen to the version that is on her album, her music video, etc., it says "you're too d**n scared to fly". Common Sense Media didn't catch that.

Very Good

It does have a couple uses of D*nm but other than that it is very fun up beat music definitely fun to dance too. :)

Light on language.

The reason I recommend this for age 8+ because of two uses of the D word and the lyric "Raise your glasses".

OK

There is reference to the "D" word twice in this and there's "time that you totally screwed up"

Strange Twisted Message...

Okay, this basically says YOLO.. Lose yourself- In what? drinking? dancing? and sometimes your kids should think before going all YOLO and just doing whatever. Da*n twice, Screwed once. raise your glasses. In the music video, she kinds of dress skimpy in some scenes. making out in the mv.

Sex is very prominent!

Most parents may not know this but hit the lights means turn them off and go all the way means have sex. Unlike the review, hit the lights does have sexual content and for children this cannot be overlooked!

Mild language but otherwise find

It's an okay song, but it's got a catchy beat. There's nothing innapropriate in it except a few of uses of, "d*mn".

Hit the Lights: BAD SONG CHOICE

There is something Common Sense didn't catch. They were probably listening to SG's FORMER channel. See how I said former. They said it didn't have language. That's because they were listening to RD's EDITED version. It has d---n in it and the line "people raise your glasses". Parents, make the right choice.

Hit The Lights RD and Original Versions

Selena Gomez says "d--n" multiple times. The Radio Disney version holds the "too" for an extra beat, though to make it clean for younger listeners who tune into Radio Disney. That one is safe for younger listeners. :)
