Parents Need to Know
Parents need to know that "Holla at the DJ" is a clean, upbeat dance track from Radio Disney's NBT winner and Let It Shine star, Coco Jones. There's no questionable content for kids, and plenty for the whole family to enjoy.
What's the story?
Coco Jones rose to Disney fame after she won Radio Disney's Next Big Thing (NBT) contest and then starred in the TV movie, Let It Shine. "HOLLA AT THE DJ" is her first single as a Hollywood Records artist, and keeps a catchy, cool dance-club beat. The video features Jones dancing Beyonce-style in black and white.
Is it any good?
Coco Jones has some powerhouse vocals that will knock your socks off and a smile that can light up the dance floor better than a disco ball. "Holla at the DJ" is an engaging dance track that mixes techno beats and smooth, synth-pop, giving it a fresh sound. The song is all about dancing and contains no references to the club scene, so it's fine for kids.
