"I Cry" (CD Single)
What parents need to know
Parents Need to Know
Parents need to know that though "I Cry" is nowhere near as graphic as many raps songs, it still contains some iffy content, including references to a mass bombing/shooting spree in Norway, drinking champagne, and the "president's cigarettes." Overall, though, the track is fine for teens.
What's the story?
"I CRY" is the fourth single from Wild Ones –– the fourth full–length record from rapper Flo Rida. Featuring cameos from fellow artists Cheshire and Mass, the track serves as an emotional outlet for Flo Rida, letting him vent his feelings about a range of difficult circumstances, from a tragic bombing/shooting in Norway that left 77 people dead, to the disappearance of his sister.
Is it any good?
The rapid–fire beat of this danceable track is a stark contrast to its somewhat somber lyrics. Sampling the Bingo Players' classic song "Cry (Just a Little)," the tune includes Flo Rida's signature mix of recognizable notes against his powerful vocal delivery.
