Nowhere NEAR as explicit or aggressive as CSM says. Actually fairly positive.
Is it the cleanest Hip Hop/Rap song ever? Definitely not. Is it the most explicit or aggressive? Not at all. Yes, there is some aggression in Eminem's verse, and swearing, but it's used pretty cleverly. Words like f--k, s--t, and a-s are used a couple times. The "N" word is used once by Royce. Bruno doesn't swear at all, and the song has a couple of sexual references, which are "hairy box" and "eat the cat to get the p--sy". Eminem also says c--k and d--k, but not sexually. Overall, the songs message is about success, failure, and coming back from adversity, much like Eminem's song "Not Afraid". I'd consider this song a solid choice for Graduation day, the clean version while at school, and explicit for a party. Explicit version is fine for 12+, 10+ for the clean, since they don't censor out a-s. Overall, definitely the best song from BME and the best from HTS. Note: this isn't really a RAP song. It's alternative/pop rap/hip hop.
