What's the story?

Disney-Pixar's MATER'S CAR TUNES is an album inspired by the blockbuster animated film, Cars. Hosted by the voice of Cars' beloved character Mater (Larry the Cable Guy), Car Tunes is a collection of nine original songs as well as some fun re-recordings of classics like "The Little Old Lady from Pasadena."

Is it any good?

Mater's Car Tunes is a collection of car-themed, country-inspired songs that revolve around all things auto, with the same nostalgia that made the movie so endearing. Whether it's traveling cross-country, souping up a Chevy, or stopping at a roadside diner, these songs are relatable for any age. From the start, the upbeat pop-country "I Love This Drive" is a great road-trip tune about the excitement of the road leading home. "Ragtop Rock" is reminiscent of the good ole days, and "Beep Beep" is a fun, '50s-style track that progresses faster and faster as the song goes on. Young and old alike will enjoy listening to this album, no matter where the destination may be.
