Rachel crow

Families can talk about the role that entertainment competitions like The X Factor, American Idol, and The Voice play in the burgeoning careers of today’s young performers. Is it fair that shows like this can catapult young stars such as Rachel Crow to the top without going through the traditional process of "making it?" Why or why not? If Justin Bieber or Lady Gaga had tried to get their start on one of these talent shows, do you think they would have won? Why or why not?
