Parents Need to Know

Parents need to know that "Rocketeer" is a great choice for tweens and their parents. It includes no profanity or adult content, focusing instead on telling a heartwarming story about a guy who thinks the world of his girl and wants to help her get the most out of life.

What's the story?

ROCKETEER is the follow-up single to the smash hit "Like a G6" by electro-pop quartet Far East Movement. Featuring guest vocals by One Republic's lead singer, Ryan Tedder, the track is a sweet expression of love by a guy who wants to show his girl the world. There's no swearing or mature content, just a lot of cute, creative lyrics about all the ways he wants to take care of his girl. For example, "Where we go we don't need roads, where we stop nobody knows / To the stars if you really want it, got a jetpack with your name on it / Above the clouds in the atmosphere, just say the words and we

Is it any good?

"Rocketeer" is a slow song with modern flare, coupling a toned-down tempo and beautiful vocals by Tedder with the rap stylings of Far East Movement. Even the coolest kids can't help but like the end result, which has all the appeal of a love song with a lot less of the cheese.
