The Door's are somewhat hit and miss with me. Pretty much there are 2 types of Door's songs: The absolutley fantastic ones, and the pretty good ones. This album has both. In terms of being well done it would be 5 stars, but for my personal liking it's about 4.5. 5-star songs: Break on Through, Light My Fire, The End (These songs alone make the album worth it) 3-4 Stars: All the other ones

The Doors Review

I remember I loved the Doors when I was growing up. My parents were pretty proud of me for liking what they called their “Diamond Decade” of music. There are a few "sketchy" characters and lines to this, however, but most of them aren't TOO bad. The actual MUSIC is great; it’s just Jim Morrison's BEHAVIOUR (offstage AND on, although your youngsters won't be able to see much of that anymore) that makes some people consider The Doors as innapropriate. Sure, Jim was a horrible role model, but your kids are just jamming out to his music, not screaming who-knows-what at the police and getting drunk. The BEHAVIOUR has nothing to do with the SONGS.
