Families can talk about the lasting popularity of the Thomas the Tank Engine brand and TV show. What do you think makes this show so popular? Do you think it's the show or the toys and products that go along with it that kids really love?
Does it make you like a TV show or movie more if you can have toys from it?
The song "Old and New" talks about trying something new. Have you ever been afraid to try something that you had never done before? Give examples. How did you feel after you tried it? How did you feel if you didn't?
