Fortune by Chris Brown

Album: By Chris Brown-Fortune Chris Brown’s fifth album (Fortune) was released on June 29th, 2012. As his first release with RCA records Chris collaborated with many record producers to get this album put in stores. He also featured many other guest appearances like Big Sean,Wiz Khalifa, and many more. On the Billboard 200 it debuted as number one and selling about 135,000 copies in its first week. Even though he had lots of copies in the first week it is still a big drop from his last album F.A.M.E.. Despite being getting negative reviews from musical critics it was one of the top ten buys in 9 other countries. What lead to his success with this album was a hot new song “turn up the music”this song was sung by him and is on this new album. Turn up the music reached number 10 on Billboard 100 and number one on the U.K. singles chart. His new style with a mix of techno and pop music has made him a hot new artist. With an average of $9.99 in stores his fairly priced album is still in stores and still a highly wanted disc. Even with many top hits and great songs still too many of his love songs might be effecting the rate this CD being bought. In my opinion even though I like hearing most songs on that album for example turn up the music or don’t wake me up his supposed romantic love songs need a better beat. But still the overall CD is fantastic and fans can agree. So if you want some new hot music I would suggest going out to stores and get Chris Brown’s latest album Fortune. You will thank yourself if you do. His own techno/pop music for the first time has ever been produced by RAC records this album is Fortune. So I suggest you get it NOW! Fortune Albums sold: 134,290 in first week Price: About 10.00 dollars Record Deal: RAC Records

Glad they moved on.

The remix of this song is better than the original, with Rihanna's unique vocals definitely adding to the substance of the song. The song is actually one of Chris Brown's better songs, and I'm glad that he and Rihanna are at peace again and making more good music together. Parents of young kids might feel a little unsure of the line that is repeated before the chorus: "If you sexy and you know it, put your hands up in the air." Other than that, everything is fine in this song.
