"We Can't Stop" (CD Single)
A lot or a little?
The parents' guide to what's in this music.
What parents need to know
Parents need to know that Miley Cyrus is partying much harder on her single "WE CAN'T STOP" than on "Party in the U.S.A." With some innuendo ("Got somebody here, might get some now" and "Shaking it like we at a strip club") and references to drinking, drugs, and partying, this dance-pop single is best for teens and up.

What's the story?
Is it any good?
After listening to the weird intro to "We Can't Stop," you'll kind of wish the song really did just stop right there. With a woozy feel, fuzzy vocals, and lame lyrics, this is not the feel-good dance number you'd expect from Miley. When she sings "And we can't stop/ And we won't stop," it comes across as a little sad.
If she picked up the tempo and took out the odd effects on the "It's our party, we can do what we want" verses, it might be a halfway decent song. As it is, keep "Party in the U.S.A." as your summer anthem and give this single a pass.
