What parents need to know
Parents Need to Know
Parents need to know that Austin Mahone shows he just might be the second coming of Justin Bieber with his single "What About Love." With no iffy language, references to drugs, alcohol, or sex, this catchy tune and fun, dance-filled video are OK for young tweens and up.
What's the story?
Although he got his start from making his own YouTube videos, Austin Mahone shows he has what it takes to make it in the big leagues with his single, "WHAT ABOUT LOVE." With a boy-band sound (he even references 'N Sync's "Bye, Bye, Bye" in the lyrics), and stellar dance moves in the song's music video, Mahone is a polished performer.
Is it any good?
While there's nothing groundbreaking or particularly interesting in Mahone's "What About Love," there's a lot of promise. The song sounds as if it could be straight off an old Backstreet Boys or 'N Sync album, but it's solid, catchy pop that will certainly appeal to tween and teens alike. And the fun music video shows Mahone has sweet dance skills and the charisma to hold up a long career ahead.
