What's the story?

TV's hippest kids' characters are back with yet another album, YO GABBA GABBA: MUSIC IS AWESOME! VOL. 3, a 23-track record with favorites like "Don't Bite Your Friends" and "I'm Sorry," as well as music featured on the show from bands like The Flaming Lips, Devo, Band of Horses, The Killers, and even "Weird Al" Yankovic, to name a few.

Is it any good?

Whether it's singing about (not) biting your friends, being yourself, or being kind to others and your pets, Yo Gabba Gabba! takes everyday lessons about life and creates fun and meaningful ways to get kids to be the people we want them to be: kind, thoughtful, independent, and healthy. The songs can become a bit tedious after a while (what kids' music doesn't?), but the groovy, eclectic mix of tunes from bands like The Killers and The Flaming Lips are hip enough for even the coolest parents and preschoolers on the block.

Talk to your kids about ...

  • Kids: Do you know the difference between real characters and make-believe characters? What does it mean when something is make-believe?

  • Does listening to this music make you want to watch the TV show? Does watching the TV show make you want to listen to this album?
