Get in touch with history and heritage

Hey, I like this show. If your the kind of kid or adult who likes history and o see people's faces light up when they hear their great-grandfather's old steamer trunk from immigrating to America is worth a boat-load of money (no pun intended), this show is for you. I wouldn't watch it regularly, but it's nice to watch once and a while to get in touch with history and heritage.

Great Show, we love collecting

My son and I enjoy watching the show and then updating our own collections. We prefer coin collection - which Qollector makes easy. https://qollector.com/p/coins

Just tell me what it's WORTH!

I watch this show soley to see how old the items are (seeing something from the 1700s and older is just amazing to me) and to guess their worth. This show is good for learning about history and to learn how much certain artifacts cost. I find the show can be dry because the facts can get tedious and you just want to yell: HOW MUCH IS IT WORTH? The experts tend to talk slowly and draw things out (much to my disliking), but I guess the show needs that element of suspense. Anyhow, if your child can sit through the appraisal then they may end up liking this show.

Decent Show

Antiques Roadshow is a fun, classic show. It's more fun to guess the prices.

great but teens will enjoy it most

This show is appropriate for pretty much anybody, but only older kids and teens will really enjoy it. I love the peoples reactions when they find out how much their item is worth! A great show
