Way too scary

My almost-6-year-old was terrified by this show. He watched it over 2 months ago and still talks about it daily - he's now unable to sleep alone. I made the mistake of thinking Arthur was a safe bet and was not in the room while he watched it.

Pretty Scary for Arthur

Surprisingly scary, my kid refused to sleep alone tonight. He. has seen & read plenty of Arthur, and he’s even enough into scary themes that he loved Tim Burton’s Nightmare Before Christmas and complained Coco wasn’t scary enough. He loves Every Scooby Doo cartoon ever made. Something about the golem in this story freaked him out, though. He felt a little better when I told him about the Golem of Prague, which apparently has a better story arc, but he was still afraid to sleep by himself tonight. Not the usual Arthur.
