Host Jeremie Saunders is an ace at infectious enthusiasm, inspiring both kids and adults to see the world a little differently and create things they never knew existed until they saw him make it first. How else can you explain wanting -- no, needing -- to find a Styrofoam cup and a pair of scissors so you can craft a miniature spaceship for a ping-pong-ball panda? Or ransacking the house for an old cardboard box and a set of clothespins to make yourself a homemade foosball table? Before you know it, you'll be trying to artzooka anything and having a blast with your kids in the process.

One of the best things about Artzooka! is that Saunders takes care to demonstrate a project and then, quite often, goes back and reviews exactly what he did so budding artists can see it all again, reinforcing the process step by step to aid retention. The show also promotes the message that you can literally turn trash into treasure (and help the planet while you're at it by reusing items you'd otherwise throw away). All it takes is some inspiration and creative recycling.
