What's the Story?
In CELEBRITY GHOST STORIES, movie, TV, and music stars describe their personal encounters with the paranormal. Performers like Carrie Fisher, Scott Baio, Sammy Hagar, and Joan Rivers offer first-person accounts of supernatural events that range from receiving messages from departed loved ones to angering the spirits of their home's previous tenants. Each story is dramatically reenacted with the help of special effects and eerie music.
Is It Any Good?
This celebrity-themed series differs from other ghostly shows in that it offers viewers the chance to be entertained by people who whave the talent to tell a good ghost story. The stars' fame also makes their stories seem a bit more believable than the average scary tale. Thanks to the show's sometimes over-the-top reenactments, some of the tales come across as theatrical rather than frightening. But viewers who like spooky stories about the paranormal will find the show somewhat amusing.
