What's the Story?
DISNEY INSIDER is a reality series that offers behind-the-scenes looks at various aspects of the Walt Disney Company. Each episode features three segments that follow the process by which a Disney experience is created. It follows creators, producers, celebrities, and other insiders as they spend their days working on shows, music, and feature films. From learning more about the making of films like Inside Out and the live-action film Mulan, to seeing the planning that goes into new theme park restaurants, it showcases the efforts made to create magical moments for those who enter the Disney universe.
Is It Any Good?
This interesting series features backstage looks and interviews with Disney staffers about the detailed work that goes into Disney productions, projects, and events. Whether it be following Katy Perry and her American Idol costars working at a Disney resort in Hawaii, to looking at the last-minute set up for the RunDisney marathon in Walt Disney World, each episode reveals how every aspect of the Disney universe is responsible for creating stories. There are lots of entertaining moments, but at times Disney Insider feels promotional, especially when highlighting upcoming movies and interesting Disney-themed events that people can participate in. Nonetheless, no doubt that die-hard Disney fans will enjoy it.
