Parents Need to Know
Parents need to know that Game On: A Comedy Crossover Event is a limited series where four different Netflix comedy shows "cross over" into each other. Each episode has parallel themes and includes guest appearances from the other shows' characters throughout. It contains some mild suggestive references that will go over young kids' heads, occasional strong words, and Apple computers and iPhones. Despite all of this, the messages are positive and family-friendly.
Is It Any Good?
This lighthearted comedy event bills itself as a crossover but doesn't combine the shows into a singular story. Instead, it relies on a competitive theme to tie each of the stand-alone episodes together, and uses special appearances by characters from each show to reinforce it. It isn't the most creative approach, but it allows viewers unfamiliar with the four series to easily follow each plotline. If you're a Netflix sitcom fan, Game On: A Comedy Crossover Event will be sure to please.
