What's the Story?
GAME ON: A COMEDY CROSSOVER EVENT is a Netflix limited special event made up of one individual episode from each of four popular Netflix comedy series. Each installment from The Big Show Show, Mr. Iglesias, The Expanding Universe of Ashley Garcia, and Family Reunion features the show's regular cast and contains individual plotlines. But they each tell a funny story about handling competitive challenges, which is the common thread between them. Guest appearances made by characters in each other's episodes, and by some surprise celebrities, also add to the entertainment.
Is It Any Good?
This lighthearted comedy event bills itself as a crossover but doesn't combine the shows into a singular story. Instead, it relies on a competitive theme to tie each of the stand-alone episodes together, and uses special appearances by characters from each show to reinforce it. It isn't the most creative approach, but it allows viewers unfamiliar with the four series to easily follow each plotline. If you're a Netflix sitcom fan, Game On: A Comedy Crossover Event will be sure to please.
Talk to Your Kids About ...

What are the reasons a show might be "crossed over" with others? Is it for entertainment purposes? To promote different shows? Or both?
