Each installment of this silly dating competition offers a lively contest featuring folks trying to get to know each other while making and tasting food for cash. There's lots of flirty and innuendo-filled banter, some of which is so over the top that it's more comedic than sexy. Adding to the fray are the heat challenges, which cause contestants to sweat profusely, yell, choke, and jump into a water-filled kitty pool in hopes of cooling their palates down. Overall, Hotties isn't very romantic, and if you're looking for a good cooking competition, you won't find it here. But if you want to sink your teeth into some mindless entertainment, you won't be disappointed.
