It's pretty suitable for kids. I recommend it for ages 4 to 9. It's pretty bad for older kids though.

Engaging comedy and action for kids 7 and up...

Great comedy for kids with lots of action. Story lines introduce Chinese astrology in fun ways. Lots of rich characters. Really surprised to see a hip hop crew of bad guys... Ice Master Strike, DJ Fist and MC Cobra. The show has a diverse base of martial arts, hip hop, asian culture and ofcourse Jackie Chan comedy. My 7 yr old son loves this show.

jackie chan adventures

This show doesn't have many problems. There is some fantasy violence that may scare smaller children. Also some of the weapons are quite realisticilly illistrated .

Surprisingly Good Quality Show

Jackie Chan Adventures is a fast paced action series that feels like a more kid friendly Indiana Jones. The series is pretty tame as far as animated series go but it does feature more violence than the average animated series. Plenty of action scenes which include shootouts, sword fights, martial arts, car chases, and fistfights. Jackie Chan fights off against gangsters, thieves, demons, criminal groups, and a plethora of other villains. Characters are in constant peril and a young girl in the series always has to be protected by Jackie as she stows away to go on his adventures against Jackie's will. There is frequent weapon use including swords, realistic firearms, harpoon guns, x-rays, and a variety of supernatural forces. The Dark Hand is constantly battling against the spy group Section 13 and both sides brandish realistic firearms. There are very infrequent uses of insults and sometimes characters are infrequently shown drinking in the background (though this is very infrequent). This is an all right pick for kids 7+ who enjoy fast paced adventure as long as they don't mind a little violence.

jackie chan adventenures

supernatural forces are as often won by clever tricks as by brute force. (A scary demon, for example, is lured into a pile of mousetraps.) Lighthearted, entertaining, suspenseful, and humorous, this show may not be deep, but it's a lot of fun. Families can talk about whether ghosts and demons exist in real life. Some Asian concepts like chi or life force might need explaining.
