Parents need to know that this quirky reality series features a pair of antique store proprietors whose expertise lies in unusual collectibles. Despite the occasional strong word (like "piss"), the show is pretty mild overall, and offers some interesting information about some of the collectibles they are handling. Some of the objects (like mummified heads) and store patrons may be a bit frightening for younger viewers.
Is It Any Good?
The show offers viewers an interesting look at some of the unusual things people with unique tastes enjoy collecting. It also highlights the real market value of some of these items, many of which date back centuries and had a real place in people's culture.
Some of the items for sale, as well as the performances of some of the store's more eccentric patrons, are a bit creepy, but this only adds to the peculiar fun. In the end, this is the kind of series that will appeal to viewers who enjoy learning about some of odder sides of history.
