Funny show with some questionable scripts and scenes.

This show is funny and amazing but i have to disagree with its low level cursing and etc. There are frequent uses of the "B" word and much more. Sex: The show has STRONG sexual innuendo along with some questionable props. (funny but inappropriate.) Drinking is shown and referenced in most episodes. like the time todd's boss came to India. This Show can be but is NOT recommended to be a Family show.

I am a South Asian and I thoroughly enjoyed this show

This show appears to have a over-dependency on stereotypes, but it delivers some pretty funny, generally family-friendly material. There are some scenes that would be uncomfortable for anyone under the age of 13, but otherwise, it has positive themes and characters (with only the occasional swear and sexual innuendo). You might be in for a world of heartbreak when you finish the first (and final) season. I wish it wasn't cancelled.

Hillarious

This is a great sitcom. Though a few "dirty jokes" and "situations" happen. This is kind of racist against indians. Overall it is awesome and hillarious.

Great show, not offensive at all!

Outsourced is NBC's new comedy focusing on an average American guy from Kansas. He works for an American novelties company that was recently outsourced to India--and he's been chosen to be the manager. The show has a very likeable cast. There's Todd, the main character. He seems to be a bit...inconsiderate to his Indian workers culture but he begans to learn and respect it. There's Asha, the very beautiful and westernized call center worker. She and Todd seem to have a connection from the very begginning. Then you have Gupta, the talkative chubby guy, Manmeet (hehe) the suave ladies man, and Madhuri the very quiet wallflower who turns out to be one of the best call center employees. All these characters have depth and are just so loveable and likeable! You can't help but fall in love with them after the first episode. The issue many people have with this show is that it is "offensive to Southwest Asians." It isn't. This is probably the first show I've seen where the majority of the cast is of Indian American ethnicity! I think it's great that Indians are being given the spotlight. It's also very true about the Indian culture which is very different from American culture. Like the food or arranged marriages. I've seen other shows where the Indians are depicted very ignorantly. I respect this show for greatly depicting Indian culture. The shows very funny. There are many jokes that will make you laugh out loud. The culture clash also benifits from the jokes greatly. Some jokes are innapropriate, such as the Sexual Harrassment episode where sex and pornography are the focus. On for 13+. Give this show a chance! Its hilarious and will expose you to some of the differences between cultures 5/5!
