What's the Story?
Digna and Victor Carpio were living the American dream. Immigrants from Ecuador, they made a new home in New York with their son. But thanks to the hormones that Digna was taking to regulate her periods so she could give her son, JhanCarlos, a sibling, she became pregnant with sextuplets. Now, with six toddlers to wrangle, the family is making it work, one day at a time.
Is It Any Good?
SEXTUPLETS TAKE NEW YORK would be a heck of a lot more fun if there weren't so many other shows like it already. The Carpios are really nice people, but if it weren't for the babies, they probably wouldn't be that interesting. They struggle with money, with space, and most of the other things most families struggle with. They just happen to also have six toddlers.
Still, for those who can't get enough of shows about multiples, this one offers positive messages about family togetherness and facing challenges and obstacles as they come.
