I've been wondering why I laughed out loud when I first saw this.
The genre of this show is comedy. Great for seven-year-olds. If you wonder if there is anything else, besides what is shown in the list of content for what parents need to know, there is. DRINKING, DRUGS & SMOKING: Boss Hogg smokes lots of cigars. LANGUAGE: Plenty of insults: "shut up", "idiot", "dipstick". Also, h-ll d-mn and jacka-s are used.
Y'know, when I was a kid,I really enjoyed watching this show with my parents. My mom and dad loved it.Sadly,my brother and my sister were bored by it.Well,I wasn't bored at all.Me and my parents always laughed when we watched this show.It was a great show from my youth. So for all the reasons, this show gets a perfect rating of 5 stars.
My dad use to be a humongous fan of this show when he was a kid, and I'm glad that he introduced it to me! It makes me laugh when Bo and Luke say "YEE-HAW" every time their car leaps into the air and also the fast-paced sound of the banjo is funny as well (stereotypical, but funny!). Parents, if you grew up watching this show and haven't shown your kids, do it now!!! They need to know what a show in the 80's were like. This is a perfect example!
