The show offers plenty of educational benefits. Kids learn about different parts of the continent, identifying which kinds of wildlife exist in each region and why -- lessons that can spark discussion about why different animals need to live in certain climates in order to survive. Parents can use this example to talk to kids about how they can incorporate some of the conservation officers' duties into their everyday lives -- and explain why what the conservation officers do is so important to the animals and their resources.
