What parents need to know

Positive messages

Kids' favorite characters from Disney shows teach basic educational skills like math, puzzles, Spanish, and healthy eating. Coloring pages to print and other arts and crafts ideas take some of the fun offline.

Parents Need to Know

Parents need to know that preschool crowd-pleasing Disney Junior is the newest site in the Disney.go.com network; both the site and Disney Junior TV are Playhouse Disney replacements. The site features basic educational games, videos (including some full-length shows), and printables of favorite Disney characters both new and classic, including Handy Manny, Special Agent Oso, Buzz Lightyear, and the cadre of Disney Princesses.

QUALITY

Disney Junior is likely to be a winner with the youngest computer users who are Disney fans. Voice-over instructions ensure that kids don't need to be reading yet to enjoy the games and videos here. The printable coloring pages, crafts, and fun tips for parent-led activities are good ways to get younger kids off the computer and back to playing in the offline world.

Online interaction: The Disney Junior site doesn't allow users to interact in any way.

Good for young kids

The games are pretty educational and mostly have good messages. The design is pretty cute and there is games for every program. They have special "Birthday games". Alright for everyone under five. You don't have to log in, so it's cool for privacy and safety. I visited this site heaps when I was younger :).
