HippoCampus provides credible information on a wide range of topics, although some of the lessons are more engaging than others. For example, some of the simulations provided by the University of Colorado are conceptually good but lack the sophisticated design that many teens expect of web content. Although HippoCampus includes content from Khan Academy, it lacks that site's excellent feature that allows users to track their progress. HippoCampus might be most useful for educators, who can use the "playlist" feature to create and share curricula for classes.
