Parents Need to Know

Parents need to know that there's one advertising banner on the right side of each page, but you can resize your browser window to avoid it completely. Some games are sponsored by companies, such as Subway's Quest for the Golden Pyramid. Other ads are mostly promotional for upcoming WB shows.

What's it about?

There's a separate section of this site for each popular WB TV show, such as Yu-Gi-Oh!, What's New Scooby-Doo?, and Teen Titans. The individual areas feature information about the show, a game or two, and downloadables, such as screen wallpaper.

Is it any good?

The games require varying levels of skill, and there is no on/off toggle for the music soundtrack in most of the games.

There's a supercool Build Your Own Wrestler interactive in the Mucha Lucha area, where players choose various superhero body parts, color them electronically, then use their creations in a subsequent arena battle. Players must register to use this latter gaming feature, but it's free.

Families can talk about...

  • Parents can talk about how ads can look a lot like content on some Web sites. Which of the graphics/animations on this site are ads? Which ones are games? How do you know the difference? Some of this site's featured games require an access code from a product (including fast food items). Do you think that makes kids more likely to want to buy that product?

Your review sucks

You are really gonna bash a site for trying to make money through ads. Who do you think you are. Not every site can run on donations alone. Waaa. My kid had to see and ad. He just wanted to play games. I'm gonna go cry on the internet about nothing.
