Don't let them have your money
My daughter loved this game, I don't like their customer service.
Is It Any Good?
This is a colorful, cheerful, fun virtual world with solid safety mechanisms in place that'll surely keep kids engaged. With its collection of fun games, activities, and scripted or filtered chat, kids with adequate reading and computer skills will be able to navigate the site easily. Neocash used to play some games and buy some items at the virtual mall requires real money (via credit card or gift card).
Online interaction: Easy (scripted) chat and standard chat are both built-in ways to keep online interaction positive.
Talk to Your Kids About ...
Families can talk about whether the amount of time these virtual worlds require to rack up points and collect objects is really worth the time. Do the chats that your child can have with other Petpets have any substance? Check out our Online Worlds for Young Kids tips.
Virtual worlds can be a time suck. Read Setting Computer Limits tips for more info on how much time your child should be spending on game sites like this.
