All of the Frog and Toad books are favorites of ours. The author manages to write interesting and entertaining stories that all teach a subtle lesson. Nothing overbearing or preachy, just basic life lessons on friendship, how to treat people, etc.

About Days With Frog and Toad
Parents need to know that the use of recognizable occurrences as story themes (cleaning a room or flying a kite) enriches the stories, as do the expressive illustrations. One story -- "Shivers" -- is a little edgy for this series.
