I was very pleased how well this movie incorporated the book storyline AND was supportive of Eloise (not just seeing her as a trouble-maker) AND added an actual plot to the story! The secondary plot lines of Nanny and Phillip falling in love (not with each other!) are cheesy, but not negative. Overall great fun, especially with the superb actors they used. My 2 and 7 year-old kids loved it! (It was my favorite book growing up, so I had to check it out)

Wonderful book for children
Eloise is a great book for kids 4+. It is cute, enchanting and all-around wonderful. One thing that parents may wanto to be aware of is Eloise's antics. She is a bit obnoxious, and sometimes does things that are not so good...
