Oops! I forgot to finish my review! Oh well. As I was saying, I don't understand why parents like this book. Yes, it may be age-appropriate, but it's boring. I know this may sound bad, but kids these days are more mature than adults think. We already know about those "bad things" you try to keep away from us. This book does a good job of leaving kids ignorant of the outside world. So, if you want to leave your kids uninformed, get this book.

Families Can Talk About
- Families can talk about how Emma-Jean copes with the death of her father. Does moving on with life mean you have to forget about the person who died? Also, do you know anyone at school who doesn't have friends? How are they treated? How do you treat them?

Like the reviewer before me, I wasn't entertained while reading this book. It has an unoriginal plot and the characters are also run of the mill. I don't understand why adults like this
