Families Can Talk About
- Families can talk about the title of this book. What is a day, and what does the author mean when she promises "all in a day"? How does the boy feel when he gets up? What kinds of things does he do? Do you feel hopeful each morning, like it is the beginning of something new? How does he feel when he finds the egg? How about when he drops it? What do you think he is wishing for when he blows on the dandelion? How can a day "change everything, given half a chance"?
