hi i am reading the book now i borrowed it from a friend. it isn't hard to read and i pretty much understand everything they're talking about. there is a lot of sex and i mean a lot! Kyle is a snobby rich boy but the farther in the book he realizes the beauty in life :) there is a good message hidden under a lot of bad ones.

Beastly is very close to a good modern take on a classic, but a few sexual references kept me from recommending it to my friends. I'm a strong believer in subtle content, particularly when books are aimed at teens my age. So, while the main moral had the right idea, the book's idea of teenage morality came up far shorter than innocent Fairy-tale ancestors that we all love.

the book was amazing i never wanted to put it down! it was really sweet and descriptive i watched the film staright after the book wow they are amazing...

This book is basically just a modern day telling of beauty and the beast. If you are looking for a book with a suprise ending I do not recomend this becasue it is so predictable. On the other hand, this book has such a great message and a great plot. The Author did a wonderful job with the characters and details. This is a great book for teens. I would recomend this to my friends.

I love it ever since my mom gave me the book! It's for more mature kids but it's an amazing book and I recommend it to all readers 10 and up who are mature!!

I loved this book. My 13 yr old read it too. Although there were a few border line sexual innuendoes, it was much less than what I have seen in other books and definitely movies. Fortunately my daughter talks to me a lot and so I feel comfortable with her reading/viewing Beastly.
