This phenomenal book
Heat is an extraordinary book who was accused of being older than he really is. However, he overcame people's opinions and hung in there. With the help of his bestfriend Manny Cabrera, the lady upstairs (Mrs.Cora), and Ellie Gonzalez, Michael is able to retrieve his Birth Certificate in his native Cuba. I highly recommend this novel to anyone who enjoys reading a book jam-packed with sports facts and suspense.

This book is a great book about a kid named Michael Arroyo. He came on a boat with his father from Cuba. He loves the sport Baseball and it loves him. His father has died in May and now it's up to him and his brother to try to keep his secret. But in the middle of the book he has to get his birth certificate or else he can't play Baseball. I'm telling you read this book!

The Perfect Book
The book, "Heat" is a perfect book kids my age. It is about a boy who loves baseball and came from Cubia. The boy is really good at pitching, SO good the dont think that he is really 12 years old. SO they want to see his birth certificate, but he left it back home in Cubia. And if they find out that it is their he could be in big trouble, him and his family! What will he do give up his dream? Or fight his way in? Read this wonderful book and you will find out!
