Touching tale
Not much bad stuff in here, but I do agree with others. Stargirl is much more depressed in this story. There is a theif (sorry for my spelling) in the book. He steals Stargirl's heart, and of course items. But it's touching. I loved Dootise. Dootsie is a 5 year old. It's mostly about Stargirl getting over Leo. (Her ex Boyfriend) Yes, there is one violent girl in there. But overall, I loved the book.

The Perfect Story to Read
I just finished reading this book. It's really good and leaves you thoughtful. I love it, this book will stay with me for a long time. I think we all have a little bit of Stargirl in us.

I loved the book!
Love, Stargirl was a very good book, but you have to read stargirl first. That is the first book. It is about a girl named stargirl who moves away from the love of her life. The boys name is Leo.

MUST READ!
A must read! It tells a tale of a boy falling in love with a girl that's different. He is an outcast and she clueless to this because of her great generosity and gift of giving to others.

Pretty good......
It was pretty good but I'm disapointed in Stargirl. She's not who she used to be, she's more sad and depressed in this book and in the first she doesn't really seem to care about her own feelings, more about others. She also seemed happier, from Leo's point of view. All in all, I liked this book but it's not one of my favorites.

A Neo-Classic
The poetic way that Stargirl speaks really spoke to me. It deals with the sense of heartbreak, loss, and betrayal found in the end of the last installment, and is perceived a different time each time read. I read it when I was younger (maybe 9 or 10), and I only recently picked up a copy again and found myself enthralled with her thinking in a whole different way. Appropriate for near all ages (I restrict it to 8 because some of the vocabulary may be hard to understand, and the message can be tough), although not a very good "group read". Teaches the importance of friendship and solitude. Gets you thinking. My favorite book.

Bright, strong and independent-what more can a girl be?
In this sequel, Stargirl might not be as confident as she was in the earlier novel, but we begin to know her much better through her letter to Leo. She is still bright, strong and independent, although we see her development as a teen. In this novel, she reflects many normal teen growing pains and real teen issues. She handles these almost too well. She is almost more than can be believed, but I would be proud if she were my daughter.

Great Writing
This was a really good book. I liked it better than Stargirl, though I'm not sure why. I read it quite a while ago, so I don't remember much, but I do remember loving it. Spinelli is a writer that had managed to earn my respect and attention. I relate very well to Stargirl, and with books, very few authors manage to make their main characters very eccentric. I love this book, and the only reason I wouldn't recommend it to someone else is because I want to keep it for myself. Happy reading! :)

Inspiring book
Very inspiring story about a guys relationship with a girl that is different from all the others. She (stargirl) makes the other characters open up to being different in the beginning of the story.

Tweens and older kids
An amazing book, that I would recommend to any reader! You see Star Girl grow up, and get more mature than the person that first came to Leo.
