I love this book!!It was so much fun to read!!It was combined wit all subjects: math, social studies, reading, and it taught kids good life skills..I chose this book to do my book report on at school and I got an A. Like I said before...I LOVE THIS BOOK!!!!!
I remember reading this book over and over again when I was a kid. I was Andrew Clements CRAZY and I read all of his books! This one was my favorite though. The if you would worry about anything at all though, it'd be maybe that they were selling the comic books even though selling stuff was not allowed at the school. but that's it. This book sets a great example about dealing with and handling money. Also great for the whole family to read together!
This book was a book I had to read for my math monthly book report! It was very easy for me (I'm a 6th grader!) and the report was easy to do. It is a good book for anyone the ages of 8->
It is about a kid named Greg, and he loves money. Not just spending it, but making it, saving it, counting it and so on. He tries to sell items at school, but that didn;t work, so he tried to sell comics! That was great, but someone was copying him! His neighbor, Maura. She always copys him at everything, and tries to make it better. They fight a little, but then become friends and make the comic books together!
This book was the best book I've read it is so good I read it in 3 days it takes me the usual 2-3 weeks to finish but the book was so good I could'nt put it down
We purchased this book for our 8 yr old son for Christmas and read it every night together. The book was filled with positive messages about relationships - with people such as family, neighbors, friends, teachers and school officials, and most importantly, developing a relationship with and about handling money. In the end, I cannot say enough about the storyline, the humor and the realism brought in our home through this book. It opened many lines of discussion on several topics, including money. We highly recommend it.
