More on The Wiggles: Wiggle Bay

What’s the Story?

THE WIGGLES: WIGGLE BAY features performances from the stars of the show: the singers Jeff, Murray, Greg, and Anthony and their friends Dorothy the Dinosaur, Wags the Dog, Henry the Octopus, and Captain Feathersword. As a software activity center, Wiggle Bay allows fans to interact with the characters from the television show and hear some of the music that has made them popular.

Activities include playing tic-tac-toe, solving mazes, and piecing together jigsaw puzzles. One has children plant and water flowers.

Is It Any Good?

Compared with other children's software, Wiggle Bay is uninspired. These activities work -- they just aren't special. The one innovative activity, the planting game, is too difficult for the intended audience. Young children can't water the plants fast enough to keep them healthy, and thus the flowers wilt, decrease in height, and then disappear -- not a fulfilling experience.

Brilliant music, a Mermaid, Friendly pirate, Dog, Dinosaur, beach mystery

The Wiggles music will leave children and parents humming along and if you are familiar with the Wiggles, you will enjoy seeing Magdalena the Mermaid played by a favorite Wiggly Dancer. There are some cute references to Elvis and some fun beach songs as well as a simple storyline about a message, a treasure and a key. There is also a great message about kindness to friends.

this game is sick. the characters are sick pedophiles. i let my child play this when he was around 5, and now he is the youngest necrophiliac/pedophile/drug addict i ever met or heard of. i completely regret letting my child even look at this game. i woul not recommend it for anyone who is not old enough to drink beer.
