Fun, Not to violent
This game is fun, people always say that people are cussing online so my kids shouldnt play the game. If you have a problem with it dont let your child play online, easy fix. This game is supposed to be funny, and the deaths are not realistic. There is not any blood, there is alot of language, no f bombs and i dont think it says the s word. If you dont want it to cuss then turn the sound off.

E S R B
Look, this is one I will not review, simply because it doesn't need it. There is a reason that there is a big T stamped on the front of this game. RECOMMENDED FOR TEENS! Folks, do not, and I mean DO NOT, take the advice of another person, you have to choose what is appropriate for your kids. When your kid asks you to buy them a game, ask the person at the store (or go to esrb*) to let you see the game, turn it over, and look at the T on the back where it lists everything in this game. That is there job, and they are payed to do it, they don't just skip around, remember, the ESRB is the game version of the same ratings you see on movies and TV shows.

Fun game
There is some language in this game online and in the campaign. You can turn off the dialogue if you don't mind hearing anyone talk. Overall a fun game not that violent and no blood. People always say bad stuff online that is why they say online in not rated. A good trick I have found out how to mute people is to get a mic, turn it on so where there voice goes through that then mute the mic. You won't be interrupted anymore by foul mouthed people. I would have to say BF3 is much better and also Battlefield 1943.

Great FPS game appropriate for young teens
Its a war game so there's going to be violence, but there's no blood, and most characters die of explosions. Language is very mild.

Finally! A video game that is Pro-Palestine and not violent!
Hey guys you may have heard of me before? I do video game reviews for all games that have pro-Islamic values! I work for IGN and participated in making battlefield 3 and MW3! Modern Warfare 3: This game is a mildly violent. You kill infected mutated people and robots, but when you kill the mutated people there will be blood. You play as a Palestinian, and with the American's aid you try to save the Islamic world. You are seen praying throughout the game and helping other Muslims. Israel, Germany and France are the bad guys. But they aren't REAL people; they are like half robot half zombies. The violence and language is mild, but for all you worried annoying parents, we added the ability to turn all that stuff completely off via the options menu! To top it all off, the enemies in this game don’t even look REAL. It does not look like you are killing real people, and it does not look like real human flesh or body parts. They are mutated people, so there are numerous body parts (4 arms, 6 legs) and, best of all, body parts stay where they are. No gore, just blood. Other enemies are robots and when you shoot them they blow up. Literally. I recommend this game people 12 and up, with the language, blood and violence off. By the way guys, this game was rated “T” by the ESRB. The rating was later changed because the previous games by the manufacturers were “M”, and ESRB thought that this game should be “M” as well so other kids don’t go buying the prequels. Have fun!!

Great game. Can get frustrating.
Great game. I just got it yesterday, and my nine year-old son and I love it. There's no blood, mild violence, profanity is barely noticed, and the only "sexual" content in the game is in the campaign when one of the NPCs makes remarks about the girl's voice on the radio. Multiplayer requires teamwork, and when you get put in a game with a jerk who likes to run you over in his tank and only care about himself, it makes the game very frustrating. Great for ages 8+

I love this game personally and believe that this game is a must get for anyone at age 11. No blood,no gore, mild language a few curses here and there but definitly not any more or less than your son/daughter has heard.I rate this on for 11+

Terrible Message
I fail to see how celebrating people for deserting the army in search of gold doesn't get a lower rating in the "message" department...and talk about encouraging crass consumerism. Plus, "no blood" makes the violence seem unreal and doesn't show what the true consequences of "things blowing up" are. "Road Trip Comedy"? Blow a lot of people up on your vacations, do you?

this game is not a big problem for kids most of the violence you can't even see its just a bunch of things blowing up. over all it is really not that bad for kids the only bad thing is the language.

Great game
It's like a road trip comedy, with guns and blowing up stuff with very realestic destruction, bad language is still there. But this game is very enjoyable with great graphics and an interesting backround story.

Great Game!
It does have some curse words like sh*t and Da*n. Overall it is fun to play. If your kid is in 5th grade and up they probably hear the words at school. No blood and great online gameplay!

Better with friends in party chat.
This game has a challenging online experience that I really enjoy. It provides a variety of weapons and vehicles to use in combat. The maps are huge with great detail. I love that most of the structures and vehicles are destructable. Meaning you may think you're safe inside a building until a tank blows the walls apart. This is not your father's sandbox. The online experience has one big drawback and that is the "lag effect". When the connections are all being linked from all over the world game play can feel sluggish and frustrating. When everyone is stateside it's a much better experience. Another drawback is the lack of communication between members of the same team. The game only allows 4 people in one squad to communicate even though there may be 12 people on your team. If you need health from a support character you have to basically shoot them to get their attention. Thank goodness xbox has added the party chat feature so you can have up to 8 players communicating in the game. This vastly improves the experience.

A must have FPS
This a very fun FPS, with many elements to its story mode. There is plenty of violence throughout the game, which you can expect from a military shooter. I didn't see any blood in the gameplay, but language can be a problem, with the character Sweetwater frequently using s*** in battle scenes. Overall a great shooter, with language and violence throughout.

Stunning
The graphics in BattleField: Bad Company are simply amazing, Realistic explosions, Good Character detail, and Life like Weaponry all add up to a pretty awesome experience. In the Story mode there's some profanity, (S**t to name one word used)a majority of the Language more Likely than not will be heard from Online from Foul Mouthed Gamers. As you'd expect from a game with the word "BattleField" in it, there's Violence. Explosions, Knifings, and Shootings are all Prevalent and completely Bloodless (Albeit, Realistically portrayed). I'd recommend this Game to anyone looking for an Amazing Online and Offline Experience.
