I recommend this game to any technical fighter enthusiast, but there are a few things to look out for. It's easy to pick up and play a character semi-effectively on your first shot, barring people like Rachel and Carl, (You'll probably need more experience to use them well, since Rachel is a trap character and Carl uses a marionette in battle that has to be controlled along with him.) The game is extremely fun, with a strangely strong story and lots of replay value; it's great to grab a friend and play together, as well. On top of that, the sprites are absolutely gorgeous, and the soundtrack has a little something for everyone. That said, on to the stuff to look out for. The characters have a wide range of personalities, and while some people are nice, good-hearted individuals, others are unrepentant jerks and in some cases, completely and utterly insane. Oh, and there's Hakumen, who, while working for a good cause, is not by any means nice. Anyway, the violence in this game is pretty huge as well; expect lots of brutal moves, throws, and specials. Of course, this is a fighting game, so if you weren't expecting violence, I don't know what to tell you. As for the sexual content, it's mostly pretty mild, and most of it is played for laughs - like a scientist mentioning adding rockets to Tager's GIGANTIC TAGER!!! Yes, that is a euphamism, and yes, that is precisely what they censor the actual word with in-game. (It's a sound bite from one of his specials.) Well, in-skit; it's part of a non-canon, comedic little backstory-expanding segment. Regarding the "booby lady" mention in the official review, that's Taokaka's nickname for Litchi, since Taokaka's a silly little ditz who has difficulty remembering people's real names. The people online (at least in the PS3 version; I always expect the worst from Xbox Live, and so should you.) are generally very nice and supportive, but also very skilled; you will get the snot beaten out of you if you don't know exactly what you're doing. All in all, the content of the game is pretty tame, but that doesn't mean the story is completely safe for kids, both due to its mature content and because it can be very confusing. Be careful about who you give this to.
