Honestly, I wouldn't let my daughter play this game, but not for the reasons you would think. Sure, the game is violent, the characters a bit odd, etc. That doesn't worry me, considering the extensive time I've spent with my daughter playing games and talkinga about the content, make-up, and about video games, movies, and media in general. However, the reviews make a good point about the way the Agents and the Agency are portrayed in the game. I think it's important to point this out to our kids: that the "good guy" isn't really that much of a "good guy" at all. Not only would it be extremely educational for our kids, but it's also a lot of fun. The violence is cartoonish, at worst, and even avoidable in some instances.
No, my main problem with this game is the online things. I've played extensively online... And, turns out, they're not the friendliest of people. Not the least bit, either. IN FACT, I think they have to be the most depressing, foul-mouthed a-hols I've yet to meet with games with an online function. Goodness...
