When i started playing this i was a little disappointed to see that there were a few Glitches. First Off, when i shot an enemy the bullet holes were flashing in and out of view. Secondly, after killing an enemy near a wall he blinked in and out of view for awhile. Lastly, after killing yet another enemy he looked like he was having a seizure. The language in this game really isn't that bad, nothing too strong. The Violence is pretty intense and gruesome in some instances. For example you can have the perspective of your glaive and sever enemies heads, Cut them in half, and dismember their limbs. There isn't really an over the top abundance of blood that i can see. Maybe kids 12 and under might get a little scared during one level where you're in a dark cellar thing and zombies come at you from all sides out of the water, that's about it.
in this game, u play as a guy who's just going on some super secret mission. then he gets infected by some wierd virus and he turns into a killing machine equipped with a weapon called the glaive. This is a very violent game with blood and decapitating and all that good stuff. Swearing isn't a big issue. I think anyone 13 and older can handle this.....It's worth renting, so go rent it!
This game is pretty awesome, though somewhat gory..i was expecting more from this though...it almost seems as if they released it before they were ready. The blood on the bodies of your enemies is "glitchy". The violence is pretty intense, you can control your glaives flight and cut enemies heads, arms and legs off as well as cutting them in half. It isnt bloody overall...blood can be seen on the floor and on bodies as well as in various parts of the environments. Some parts may scare younger children...as an example, in one level your in a dark basement and there are zombies coming at you out of the water on the floor. Language...i mean....the worst word ive heard thus far is "Sh*t"...not much of an issue there....no sexual content...the message may be a little iffy because your fighting these guys that are shooting at whoever they see despite the fact that some are not "infected". I havent watched all the cutscenes but in the one after the Prologue "chapter 1" an unarmed man tied in a chair is shot in the head..
The only reason the game isn't rated t is because the characters you kill scream in agony as they die. Instead of your victims falling over dead when you severe there leg they fall over, bleed everywhere, and scream while crawling away until they bleed out.
