Only rate it 8+ because of the difficulty.
FIFA 10 is a soccer sim. Right? The violence only involves slide tackles. Which normally either take the player down or get the ball. This is rated 8+ by me because of the difficulty. Not the content. Common sense say Iffy for 8+ honestly? Slide tackling is not appropiate for 8 year olds? I was playing GTA when I was 8. This is appropiate for anyone who can play it.

Better then you think
This is a perfect game for kids. It teaches them what a life would be as a profesional soccer player. It also gives you a hint on how to manage a team. Although online interactoin does get a little...you know... It is still really appropriote for all kids.

Fifa 10 is possibly the most beautifully engineered Sports Game to date. It's graphics are superb, gameplay easy and intriguing, and commentary life-like. There is honestly nothing remotely inappropriate for children (in most sports games, there are suggestive lyrics, but in this one, all songs are completely clean).

Online is an issue.
While online you will get people being violent, Example slide tackling and trying to break your legs. And if you have a headset tons of profanity and quitters half way through a match. Playing offline its about 2+. Its enjoyable.

Best soccer game!
This game is awesome! They have such good graphics, such good teams and they have it for tons of game systems like the ps3, Xbox 360, wii, and surprisingly, the Nintendo DS!
