this game is pointless without a pokemon diamond and perl game.........is this combatible with hart gold and soul silver??? what about black and white???? probally not..... tho it might be combatible with pokemon platnum

Great for Pokemon Lovers
This game was really expected to be awesome when it came out. I thought it was since I really loved pokemon, still do, but when I got it and played it, I was shocked to find that there was no RPING involved and your pokemon can't evolve or level up. D:
But I see that fighting online with others is fun. I still do it and laugh at others defeat with my pokemon.

Only buy if you have a DS Pokemon game
This game is very repetitive and can get boring very easily. I would recommend it only to a younger child. The game is limited in the types of Pokemon you can use and you cannot use one of the game modes unless you have a DS and a Pokemon game for it. You should only buy it if you have a DS Pokemon game, and even if you do, consider whether it's really worth the money with all the repetition.

Cool
It's good because any DS game will work with it. It shows the Pokemon attacks better than in the games. One of my favorite features is the DS battle, in which two players can use their DSs to battle with Pokemon from Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, or Heartgold and Soulsilver.

Fun Online Play~
This game always seems to get not-so-good reviews because of what it offers (or, rather, what it doesn't offer), but the real good stuff in this game lies in the online play, not the in-game play. I don't think I would recommend this game for a person who does not have a DS Pokemon game to use or to a person who does not enjoy the competitive side of Pokemon battling.
