Professor Heinz Wolff's Gravity
What’s the Story?
PROFESSOR HEINZ WOLFF'S GRAVITY is a very basic, but sometimes challenging puzzle game. In each level, a ball drops from a hole and must roll through the scene to eventually roll over a button to complete the level. It's the player's job to help this ball using supplies and tools provided. A limited number of hints are available, but with 100 levels to tackle, it's best to save them for the really difficult challenges.
Is It Any Good?
Working through a level the first time definitely gives you a sense of accomplishment, but playing through a second time will not offer the same level of enjoyment. The controls on the Wii are quite accurate and make use of both the Wii Remote and the Nunchuck attachment for rotating the additional parts in the levels.
In addition to the regular play mode, the game has a sandbox mode, which allows you to place assorted balls and rods around a level to create your own Rube-Goldberg machine. There is also a party mode, which features three mini-games and leader boards to compete with friends. In one, you build a stable tower which must withstand an earthquake; in another you shoot balls into baskets; and in the final one, you eliminate colored blocks with colored balls. None of these modes are that deep or interesting, but the tower building is the highlight of party mode.
