ruined by unnecessary gun violence
This otherwise tame game contains gun violence. It's rather different to have the grandma with the creepy gas mask firing close-range shotgun blasts in a role-playing game than when it appears on film. My six-year-old daughter was a bit scared by the scene in the theater but absolutely terrified of the stalking, gun-toting grandma in the game. She makes her dad get her past that segment so she can get on with the more harmless fun of the rest of it.

A suprisingly fun game
I have a Nintend Wii, and this is one of the first games that I bought for it. I was expecting something pretty fun, maybe a bit above average, but my expectations were highly surpassed. Yes, I will admit that the game is pretty simple to beat, but it's just SO MUCH FUN! My personal favorite part is when you find the little mini-games that put you in food heaven. So, for the little ones: a challenging, clean game that will plaster a smile on their face. For those older: a not-so-challenging but still VERY fun game.

Good for younger Wii players
This is a good game for my nearly six-year-old son. I especially like that when he makes a mistake, instead of having to start over from the beginning of the game, he is transported back to where he just played. This eases the usual frustration factor of playing this type of game.

First Comes Food, then Comes Videogame
This was a very fun and challenging game to play. It had that creative sense that just kept you playing. I definitely recommend trying out this wonderful game, no, I order you to!

Not as kiddish as many say
I'm sixteen and enjoy this game and even find it better than most Mario games (with Super Mario Bros. being the biggest exeption). I will admit, it is a little kiddish and easy, but it is fun with numerous styles of gameplay. While the storyline has much to be desired, the gameplay is good (but repetative at times) and you can easily see where they mixed stuff from Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Sunshine (the game I think is better than Galaxy but not as good as Sunshine in many ways). The only concern is that you steal a lot, but the plus is that Remy consistently says stuff like "Please no more stealing, dad." Overall, I would advise it, but if your child is older that ten then I would rent it first. Also, this game is in no way identical to the movie except for some minor refrences and the environment as well as how Remy hats stealing.

Great for kids and surprisingly good
This game is actually pretty good! For a disney made game, the graphics are pretty good and you don't beat the game in 2 hours. It's actually fun too!

A "tasty" game that will satisfy the whole family!
This is a very fun and challenging game. It shows you to think logically and solve puzzles. The controls are very simple. The only violence the game has is hitting enemies with a spoon and in one scene where an old lady tries shoot the rats with a shotgun.

Thumbs Up!
I loved it! I thought the movie was great and the game on the XboX (not 360) was even better. Some parts were a chalenge on the wii but i have not gotten that far on the XboX.
