Good game, but got kinda frustrating
The game was like a typical racing game, but could get kinda frustrating, and young kids might get upset and give up. Good for kids 9+

I have this game and it rocks too.
This one character Ulala, these power-ups, and this cash where the sega shop is and earned for doing GP mode, Mission mode, and time attack are my concerns.

Common Sense Media gives the Empire Strikes Back 8+ but this game 9+. That does not make sense. Darth Vader cuts off Lukes hand while telling him he is his father and Han Solo spends the night in the belly of a dead animal. Sonic has no violence even close to this level.
Great game to play with your 1st grader. Plenty of unlocks and split screen co-op. In 60 days he went from struggling to not be in last to 1 ever time and I am not sure I can beat him anymore. Up to four can play at once locally so his friends come over and play. The only thing you have to worry about is keeping a time limit on playing .... you will hear ...just one more race ... please.
Oh yeah ... Empire Strikes Back is an awesome movie for a 8 year old.

This game is really fun.I always win 1st place!It's not really hard to play.The stages are very colorful,it always make me want to play!

sonic & sega racing parks in the winner's circle
One of my favorite games. It's fun, it's competitive, and it's all masked in gorgeous environments. The controls are easy to master, there are also mini-games for further amounts of fun, there are thorough voice acts, a good announcer, and one of the decade's best original soundtracks. Need I say more? Oh, save for the extremely long and irritating to type name. So get this game before YOU become roadkill.

Some Bad Content
The bad or offending content found in this game contains some creepy stages. The game also contains some bad words, but the game developers aren't aware of this much. Shadow snaps a D-word whenever someone bumps or gets in front of him. Since this game is E10+, the d words can be accepted. The game isn't bad for an E10+ game, but does contain some bad content.

Best rival to Mario Kart!
The best rival racing to Mario Kart! Only violence is the power-ups. There is a bit of profanity, which is D-A-M-N. There are some scary stages too. It is fun for the whole family!

Its a racing game just like mario kart. ya the violence is throwing things to stop your fellow racers. On some circuits, there are zombies. So, its on for 7+

Horrid Game ruined by my little brother's LOVE FOR IT.
This game is AWFUL. AWFUL. MY LITTL BROTHER NEVER STOPS PLAYING IT, HE PLAYS MY FILES, PLAYS AS SHADOW AND SUCKS AS HIM, AND BECUASE OF SUCH, I AM ACTUALLY AFRAID OF THIS GAME! NO SEQUELS! PLEAAASE!!!

Sonic racing done right
While I do find the idea of someone who hates this game giving it a perfect score anyway strange, that's not the point of this review. Anyway, when it comes to racing and Sonic, the results have not been all that great. Sonic R, Riders and Drift were all mediocre at best, Riders mostly suffering from a system that was quite difficult to figure out for the first day or so. However, the Sega All-Stars games have at least done a good job so far and this is no exception. It's easy to figure out and just plain fun, using many elements from Mario Kart while also adding the wonder simply known as special attacks, plus everyone has a different vehicle, no one actually using a go-kart, hence this isn't a Mario Kart ripoff. I have the DS version, so of course I don't have all the bonus characters that the other versions added, but nonetheless, it's still very enjoyable and the first truly great Sonic racing game.

Fun kart racing game
It's a fast paced Mario Kart type game. I think it's pretty good, but there are rocket launchers and land mines,although nobody really gets hurt. Also, drivers yell (sometimes) kind of insulting things at each other. Yes, there are zombies in the creepy levels, but you don't have to do them. Last, there are some pretty hard levels that I just can't seem to pass. In all, it's pretty good. (P.S. I have the DS version which is rated E.)
