Star Fox Assault is about animals (dogs, foxes, wolves and other 4 legged creatures)fighting evil aliens who take over peoples minds. This game, although a short play has a great story, easy controls, a sweet multiplayer mode is and a must buy!

This game is pretty cool, you chase around bad guys, fly spaceships, take over bases where the bad guys are hiding. Pretty good game, but it is sort of hard to control.

First off whoever gave this game an off for violence was out of their gourd. Woodland critters shooting bugs with lasers is not a violent game. Secondly, the game is in 3rd prson, meaning you don't actually see things from the characters perspective. And third, this is a good pick for starfox fans. After the crap fox threw down in adventures, it's nice to see fox in an arwing again. You can also get out on foot and shoot enemies with guns. There are no branching paths, which makes the story mode pretty short. However, the multiplayer is fun, and considering how dirt cheap gamcube games are, this is a fun one to play with friends. No excuse for halo, however.

good game espesially if you want a shooter game but your parents dont like them then ask them about this one

First of all, panents, you should know that Star Fox Assalt is a third person shooter because it's behind-the-shoulder view. Second of all this game would've been rated E10 if it came out today. Finally My bro's 5 and 8 year old friends play it and it dosent bother them at all. The violence is no different here than in starwars exept it's animals shooting each other.

C'mon this game is not that violent at all.

The main bad content of the game revolves around creature violence and shooting although this game could be accepted as an E10+ game.

I loved StarFox: 64....I even played it over 64 times (Completing it too) and I just recently heard about this so I picked it up...Right when I got home I started playing, the controls were a bit off from the originals but all else was perfection...For $10 it is a steal.

I think this is a great game and common sense way over rated it. It should be for at least 10 year olds. Im 12 myself and that's what I think but its all up to you, the parents. I think you should check other peoples' reviews though, just in case or you could rent and see for yourself.
