Not a mature shooter, Neither is it good.
Ghost recon has always been a good game. But not as good anymore. The violence is very low. Its 3rd person to start with. So its not looking in a 1st person aspect. There is near to no blood at all. Even a bit of blood looks like red paint :) The language is moderate and not much of it. But back to violence. Why is this not that violent? It would be more fun though.

Perfect game with not a lot of blood preferred to shut sound off but eleven should be the perfect age.

this game is okay for people in their tween years but what most parents are scared of is violince. the new ghost recon future soldier is way better i have the beta and it wasn't that violinet or bloody i just want to say this game is as good as any.

Great Military Shooter
I really like this game. It had great stratigic and teamwork elements to it. The graphics are great and voice acting rocked. I really don't remember if there was swearing in the game or not. I loved seeing all the cool technology of the military in this game (ex. F-22 raptor jet, and the Abrams tank) Online play is fun. you can do co-op up to 16 people I think and versing up to 16. Great game for ages 16 and up.

Tactical Shooter
I'm a huge military game buff... and if you enjoy tactical shooters in 3rd person then this is definatly a game for you. I would say that kids above the age of 10 can handle the game... though they may find the tactical basis of the game a little complicated to grasp. All in all an excellent game with a good story line... I would also recommend the original GRAW.

Another good military FPS
The game editors made some improvements in being able to save your progress. The plot depth is adequate, reminds me of Blackhawk down, but graphics are more realistic.

An Ok 3rd Person Shooter, But a Bit Tedious
I not a huge fan of 3rd person shooters, but this one was just plain tedious. If you're into this kind of thing though, then the content is ok. If you look closely you can see some blood, but not too bad. The language might be a factor for younger players because of the words h***, d***, and a** used sometimes.

the best of the ghost recon
there is nothing content wise, wrong with this game. fantastic blend of strategy and action make this a must have for ghost recon fans, RTS fans, and third person shooter fans.
if you want gears but it's too over the top for you, this is the game to buy.
also, when you can find online matches they are fun too.
